community empowerment is leading organization in Arua District.
The CDDP App project is a health promotion program
that uses a distribution strategy which involves formation of community groups
and establishment of a community point for distribution. This is aimed at
extension of HIV services closer to the communities to reduce congestion in
health facilities. CDDP App project also seeks to improve the quality of care
and safety for People Living with HIV (PLHIV).
Since Nov 2018 – Jan 2020, RICE West Nile
implemented this project in partnership with Reach Out Mbuya (ROM) with funding
support from Ugandan Academy for Health Innovation and Impact – a programme
under Infectious Disease Institute (IDI).
