Since 2014 to date, RICE West Nile has been promoting peaceful coexistence among the refugees and host communities through community events such as cultural, sports, dialogues and broadcast of prerecorded peaceful radio programs on peaceful coexistence. We also use the mixed farming group ap- proach for social cohesion and increase land access for farming for refugee. Has a result, there has been enhanced capacity of local leaders, community peace monitors, cultural leaders, religious leaders and opinion leaders from refugee and host communities on con- flict sensitive response, peace building, conflict mitigation and management.
